CFCC Culinary Instructor Gwen Gulliksen is a graduate of Madeline Kamman’s School for American Chefs and was gifted Kamman’s extensive cookbook collection. Gwen started a book scholarship in her mentor and friend’s honor and has created an online book store of Kamman’s cookbooks to help to fund the scholarships.
“Books were everything to Madeleine. She wrote many award winning cookbooks herself and cultivated a personal library of a least 1,000. Madeleine would say knowledge is nothing if not shared. It important to me to share the books she shared with me… to instill a love of learning and keep the knowledge going.” Chef Gwen
