Scholarship recipients will be nominated by a vote of the second-year nursing students.

Stephanie Gail Griffin Kennedy July 18, 1979 – May 22, 2008
Stephanie attended St. Mary Elementary School and was a 1997 graduate of New Hanover High School. She was a 2008 graduate of the R.N. Nursing Program at Cape Fear Community College. Next to her wedding day graduating from nursing school was the proudest day of her life. She was an employee at New Hanover Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.
