Myrtle R. Sinclair Endowed Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is for students in the Associate Degree Nursing or Practical Nursing Program. First year students must have a GPA of 3.0 and second year applicants must have a GPA of 2.5. Practical Nursing Program students must have a GPA of 2.5. Nursing Faculty will be asked to make recommendations on scholarship recipients.

About Dr. R. T. Sinclair, Jr. and Mrs. Myrtle Reynolds Sinclair
Mrs. R.T. Sinclair, Jr. (Myrtle) was a registered nurse and joined the Army Nurse Corps, April 1940. While stationed at Ft. Eustis, VA, several months before D-Day, she served as operating room supervisor. She was then assigned to the 51st Field Hospital as Chief Nurse. This was the first hospital on Omaha Beach after D-Day, WW II. Total admissions to the hospital during the war were 9,763, all critically wounded patients.
