Dr. Steven Stein Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is in memory of Dr. Steven E. Stein, beloved husband of Mrs. Pamela Evans Stein. Following a 30 year dental practice, Dr. Stein retired to Wilmington, NC in 2011. In his retirement Dr. Stein enjoyed working in his yard, golfing, cooking and DIY projects. A scholarship to assist Cape Fear Community College Dental Hygiene students was started in 2019.

“I am extremely grateful for your selfless contribution to my education. I also am deeply honored to be associated with a scholarship that bears the name of your late husband.
I was intrigued to learn that your husband loved cooking and working with his hands in the yard and while engaged in do-it-yourself projects. I have observed that the field of dentistry draws in those who like to express creativity through their hands. I also love to work with my hands.
