Officer Richard Matthews Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for students in the Criminal Justice program of study. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students must be in their second year enrolled in the AA or AAS Criminal Justice Degree program. First priority will be given to a dependent of a law enforcement officer killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.

Send a Cop to College Scholarship
This Scholarship requires the applicant to have a 3.0 GPA in an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Community Spanish Interpreter, Criminal Justice, Business, or Paralegal program. The applicant is also required to be a member of the Wilmington Police Recreation Association. The initial GPA requirement can be waived for the first semester of a sworn member of the Wilmington Police Department, but the applicant must earn a 3.0 to maintain eligibility.
