The Dr. Lane Sebring Scholarship for Future Doctors is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited medical school in the United States who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement and a commitment to advancing integrative and functional medicine. Through this scholarship, Dr. Sebring hopes to foster the growth of innovative, patient-centered medical practitioners who prioritize whole-body health and wellness.

Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship fund, you must be a current medical student at a university in the United States or a high school student with plans to attend university for a medical degree. The scholarship fund aims to provide financial assistance to talented and deserving students who are passionate about pursuing a career in the field of medicine.

The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition (under 1000 words), which will be judged by our panel of experts. The judges will be looking for creativity, originality, and persuasiveness in the essays submitted.

The essay question for the scholarship competition is as follows:
“Identify a healthcare issue that you believe needs significant improvement and propose a new medical innovation or approach that could address the issue effectively.”
