David Sugarman Scholarship for Entrepreneurs

The David Sugarman Scholarship for Entrepreneurs is a merit-based scholarship program designed to support undergraduate and graduate students who possess an entrepreneurial mindset, creative thinking, and a strong commitment to entrepreneurship. Our scholarship program offers financial support, mentorship opportunities, and networking events to empower the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. We believe in the power of entrepreneurship to drive economic growth, create positive change, and transform lives. The scholarship will provide a financial award of $1000 to one recipient. The scholarship funds are to be used to support the recipient’s business-related expenses, such as tuition fees, research, equipment, or other relevant costs associated with entrepreneurship.

Criteria
To be considered for the David Sugarman Scholarship for Entrepreneurs, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Academic Pursuit: You must be a current undergraduate or graduate student who is actively pursuing a career in entrepreneurship or a high school student with plans to attend university for an entrepreneurial degree.
Excellence in Academics: We value exceptional academic performance and are looking for students who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievements.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: You should possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Essay Requirement: As part of the application process, you will need to submit a thoughtful essay of under 1000 words in response to the following prompt:

“Describe your entrepreneurial journey and share how you plan to make a positive impact through your business venture.”

Problem-Solving Skills: We are interested in applicants who demonstrate a creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving, showcasing their ability to identify and tackle complex issues within the entrepreneurial landscape.
