Sandy Collette Scholarship in Media & Communications Annual Scholarship

The Coach Bill Dooley Education Foundation is very pleased to announce the creation of the Sandra Collette Scholarship in Media & Communications with Cape Fear Community College. “Sandy” is well known in national media circles, having served in various leadership roles in Houston, Dallas, and Wilmington throughout her 45 year career in media. She is likely best known locally as the Publicity Chairperson for the NC Azalea Festival, having served in that role for twenty years. Sandy has also served her various communities in numerous leadership roles including the United Way, March of Dimes, Hope Abounds, Greater Wilmington Sports Hall of Fame, Coach Bill Dooley Education Foundation, and many others.
