Jimmy Alfano Scholarship
Celebrating mentorship, culinary passion, and independent restaurants
Honors Angus Barn employee Jimmy Alfano and his commitment to mentoring young people. Open to students with restaurant work experience, with preference given to those interested in or experienced with independent restaurants.

William F. Carl Scholarship
Supporting the children of hospitality employees
Honors the late co-founder of Golden Corral and his belief that hourly employees are the foundation of the industry. Awarded to eligible children of hospitality workers attending a two- or four-year college or university in North Carolina.

Davidson and Jones Hotel Corporation Scholarship
Advancing future hospitality leaders
Supports rising college juniors or seniors enrolled in a four-year culinary, hospitality, or related program in North Carolina.

LM Restaurants’ Family Scholarship
Investing in the LM Restaurants team
Established by the Moshakos family to support current LM Restaurants team members pursuing higher education. Open to eligible employees with a minimum of six months of employment.

Lynn Minges Scholarship Fund
Honoring leadership, service, and community impact
Celebrates the legacy of Lynn D. Minges and supports students who demonstrate passion for hospitality, tourism, and strengthening communities across North Carolina.

Pepsi “Service That Sells” Scholarship
Recognizing excellence in customer service
Designed for ProStart students and alumni pursuing hospitality-related education who have demonstrated strong customer service experience.

Mikel Weber Scholarship
Honoring leadership, dedication, and care for others
Named for the late Senior Vice President of Operations for Golden Corral, this scholarship supports individuals furthering their education in pursuit of a hospitality career.
