The Barbara J. Brown Nursing Scholarship

The Barbara J. Brown Nursing Scholarship honors a lifetime of service by a nurse who dedicated nearly sixty years to caring for her community. This scholarship is designed to support students who are pursuing nursing as a career of service.

For the 2026 cycle, one student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to help cover education-related expenses.

Eligibility:
• North Carolina resident
• Enrolled in or accepted into an undergraduate nursing program in North Carolina
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
