General Electric Hitachi Nuclear Maintenance Technician Scholarship

This scholarship will benefit full-time students in the Nuclear Technology program at CFCC with a 3.0 or better GPA, who have completed the required classes and satisfied the criteria.
Please keep this criteria in mind:
1. Applicants must be enrolled full-time – 12 or more hours in fall/spring semesters or 6 or more hours in the summer, or be making satisfactory progress in the Nuclear Technology program at CFCC.
• Applicants must have successfully completed the following three courses with a grade of C or higher prior to applying for the scholarship: EGR 115, ISC 112, MAT 121. If student has not completed EGR 115, lead instructor must provide verification to the Foundation Office that student has completed necessary assessments such as the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), drug-screening tests, and appropriate background checks.
• Students may begin receiving the scholarship in the fall, summer or spring of their first year, providing that all above criteria have been met.
• Scholarship recipients are eligible to continue receiving the scholarship in their second year of study, provided they maintain full-time enrollment status, a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and enroll in at least one (1) co-op assignment as a subcontractor technician at a nuclear plant outage.
