Send a Cop to College Scholarship

This opportunity requires the applicant to have a 2.5 GPA in any program of study with a preference given to students pursing an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Community Spanish Interpreter, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Business, or Paralegal program. Applicants must be a member of the Wilmington Police Recreation Association or the dependent of a member of the WPRA. Scholarships for active WPRA members (sworn or civilian) and their dependents may be awarded in the student’s first semester at CFCC; established CFCC GPA is not necessary to apply. If a 2.5 GPA is not maintained after the first semester, the student will not be eligible for award in the second semester.
Two $1,000.00 scholarships will be available each year for applicants who are sworn officers with the Wilmington Police Department ($500 in fall / spring)
Two $1,000.00 scholarships will be available each year for an applicant who is civilian personnel with the Wilmington Police Department ($500 in fall / spring)
Four $500.00 scholarships will be available each year for applicants who are dependents of sworn or civilian personnel of the Wilmington Police Department. ($250 in fall / spring)
